Happy Friday, Friend!

Welcome to November! 🍃🍂🍁

This month, in celebration of the bounty of the harvest that we experience in this season and for those of us in the United States that celebrate Thanksgiving, we are focusing on the theme of “Fruit of the Spirit.”

Apostle Paul, in Galatians 5:16-24, says the following (emphasis added):

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Throughout this month, we will explore each of these nine fruits—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—and will focus on the practical ways that we can cultivate them within ourselves.

Unlike virtues, which can be a testament to our hard work and discipline, the fruits of the Spirit are not something we can boast about or even claim to belong to us. It is called fruit of the Spirit for a reason! Simply put, the fruits belong to the Spirit!

Not only do they belong to the Spirit, but they are a manifestation of the Spirit residing within us. When we allow the Spirit to do His work in us, that is when we see good fruit!

In our November Success Guide, you’ll experience what it means to live your life according to the Spirit by allowing the Spirit to continue to empower you and produce His fruit in you.

And, don’t forget about our monthly challenge! This month, we’re challenging you to identify one of the nine fruits in your personal life that is in need of some fine-tuning, shall we say, and then working on it throughout the month.

Each week, you’ll find a prompt to help guide you in finding ways to practice producing that identified “fruit” in your life through small but concrete action steps.

Which fruit will you choose?

Are you lacking in an abundance of love for your unsaved neighbors or co-workers?

Have you felt an absence of joy in your present circumstances or season of life?

Have you been finding yourself short in temper and struggling to be patient with those around you?

Do you find yourself becoming more reactive in confrontations and not as quick to be gentle in your responses?

Whichever fruit you identify as wanting, you can trust that God is ever ready to fill you with His Spirit and increase its bounty in your life.

You simply just have to ask!

Dedicated to your success,
