Too Good to Be True?

In this digital day and age, it sometimes seems like we are constantly being bombarded by promises that are just too good to be true. The internet is full of get-rich-quick schemes, false advertisements, clickbait, and other scams. Many of these “promises” sound so very convincing, but people who fall for them are in danger of losing time, money, and even more. It’s for good reason that we say, “If something seems too good to be true… it probably is”!

But here’s the good news: when God makes a promise, it’s never “too good to be true.” Instead, when God makes a promise, He delivers on it — often way more than we could have imagined!

As you work through our journaling worksheet this month, take some time to reflect on the ways God’s promises have not just met but exceeded your expectations.
