Where to Start Following God’s Will

Throughout this month, we’ve been challenging you to seek God’s will for your life in 2024. But don’t forget that discerning what God wants you to do is only the first step — once you know WHAT to do, you have to actually DO it! And let’s face it: that’s often easier said than done. You might know the outcome God is calling you to achieve, but where do you start? And what if you don’t have everything you need to make it happen yet?

The answer to those questions might look a little different for each person, but chances are, you can start really small. What is one small, simple step you can take this week that would move you just a little bit toward that big calling God has placed on your heart? Maybe it’s outlining your book, or contacting someone for advice. Maybe it’s signing up for a webinar or online course to learn a crucial new skill. Whatever it is, commit to taking that small but important action as soon as you can.

And while you’re thinking about that big goal and the tiny steps it will take to get there, don’t forget to choose a personal verse for the year and write a blog post about how it relates to you following God’s will in 2024.
