What True Leadership Is

Dear Faithful Author,

Growing up, I always believed I had leadership skills. Maybe it’s a spiritual gift that I recognized early on, but one of my lifelong goals has been to make sure I’m a good steward of what God has blessed me with. And let me tell you, God has blessed me with an incredible opportunity—to be a leader to an amazing community of people from all over the world. That’s what your team at Christian Authors Network consists of.

But the leader I was 10 years ago? Not the same leader I am today. As I’ve grown, I’ve done my best to always give my best. And if there’s one thing I truly strive to emulate in my leadership, it’s Christ’s example.

That’s why, for the final installment of what we can learn from 5 biblical figures about amplifying our influence, I saved the most important one for last.

In my latest blog post, we dive deep into the 5 transformative leadership lessons from Jesus. Lessons that show us how to lead not just with strategy, but with heart, humility, and faith—qualities that are timeless and truly impactful.

Here’s a little sneak peek of what you’ll find:

- How to lead with servant-hearted humility (Spoiler: It’s about lifting others up, not yourself)

- The power of a clear vision and purpose—something that can guide your journey, just like it did for Jesus

- Why perseverance and faithfulness matter more than quick results—and how you can cultivate both in your work and ministry

I know life is busy, and we’re all constantly being pulled in a million directions. But if you have a moment today, I encourage you to take a step back, reflect on these lessons, and ask yourself: What kind of leader do I want to be?

If you’re ready to dive deeper, read the blog:

And let’s continue this conversation—come back and tell me which leadership lesson resonated with you the most.

In His Service,

Tam
